The pain can also be everything from a general ache to a stabbing pain. This complexity in symptoms is part of why hip impingements and torn labrums are so often misdiagnosed or missed entirely - around the hip, there are so many things that can cause similar symptoms... hernias, tendinopathies, lower back issues, etc.
